1) Which are licenced taxis and which are illegal
There are many forms of transport in Ibiza. The White Licenced Taxis, the public buses and the private chauffeur companies, like IBUSS. The legal private chauffeur companies have an SP plate on the back of the vehicle. It is very important to check that your vehicle carries this sticker. It is a round sticker with SP in the middle. This means servicio publico. A servicio publico licence means:
a) The company has the licence to carry the general public
b) The company is fully insured
c) The company has permission to pick clients up from the airport, from the port, from private villas and outside restaurants and clubs
d) The drivers have taken the necessary exams to drive the general public
e) All drivers are paid officially. Social security is paid and taxes are deducted
f) The drivers are police checked and do not have a criminal record.
g) All vehicles are tested and road worthy
2) How do I book ibuss?
Click Here and enter your information in the left hand box for airport transfers and the right hand box for villa taxi service. Just follow the instructions. Fill in the first box, press continue and you will be presented with a quote. Once you agree with the quote, fill in the rest of the form and press continue. You can either pay by credit card or by bacs. All the information is displayed clearly on the site
Once you have booked you will receive a confirmation email and receipt
3) If I want to book multiple trips or I have an unusual request, what do I do?
Underneath the two boxes is a link, called “Multiple Trips”> Please click on this link and email the reservations department with your request. They will come back to you with 8 hours.
4) What is the procedure when I book an airport transfer to my hotel or villa?
Once you have booked the transfer online, you will be met at arrivals by the driver, who will have the name of the lead passenger. Please look out for this sign. If you do not see the sign or you have a problem please go to the Ibiza Tours / Island bus desk in the arrivals.
5) Do the drivers speak English?
When you use the 4 to 8 seater vehicles the drivers speak English. In the larger vehicles not all the drivers speak English but they do have directions to ibizavillas2000.com villas written in Spanish
6) What is the procedure on our return journey?
The driver will come to your villa 3 hours before your departure or at 10am for your check out. He will either take you to the airport or to where your group have decided to stay for the day prior to your flight
7) If we do not go directly to the airport but to a hotel or a restaurant prior to our flight do we have to pay for the second trip to the aiport?
Yes, the second trip is chargeable, please check with IBUSS the price for this trip
8) Can IBUSS store our bags?

9) What solutions does IBUSS have for clients who arrive early or leave late?

10) Can we pay by cash or credit card?
You must book online in advance and you can pay by debit/credit card or bacs. If you book by telephone you must pay by card. All prices are inclusive of 10% IVA
